The Gospel Project for Adults: Bearing God’s Image is a study of the doctrine of humanity. God created human beings to reflect His glory, but sin shattered the image of God in us. So God provided Jesus Christ to restore the image of God in us through His perfect work of redemption. Through repentance and faith in Jesus, we receive the Holy Spirit as the down payment of God’s promise to completely restore in us the image of God so we reflect the glory of our Maker.
